CottonWool 3 Organic

A yarn that combines the softness of cotton with the warmth and elasticity of merino wool. The blend of 50% organic cotton and 50% extra-fine merino creates a yarn that feels comfortable throughout the year and is equally suited to baby knits, children's garments and classic sweaters for adults.

The cotton contributes softness, structure and a beautiful drape, while the merino provides warmth, resilience and breathability. Together they create a yarn that holds its shape well and produces excellent stitch definition in stockinette, lace, textured patterns and colourwork.

Although not superwash-treated, the yarn can be washed at low temperatures. The wool has been treated using an environmentally considerate process involving salt baths and thermal treatments that make the fibres more resistant to felting while preserving the natural qualities of the wool.

CottonWool 3 Organic also works beautifully with a companion yarn. Combined with Kid Seta it creates a lighter, airier fabric, while Cashmere Lace adds extra softness without changing the character of the yarn. This versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of knitting projects.
